Take the Leap:  Our Top 10 from 2019 to Greet the 366 Days of 2020

This year was a powerful and focused effort for all of us at Sophia education. Our intention was to educate and inspire our community, and the world at large, with a deeper understanding of the lymphatic system and detoxification.

With ever-increasing exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs, EMRs and Electrosmog) - and toxicity coming at us from every direction (hiding in our food, water and the very air we breathe - detoxification cannot be a “once a year” or inconsistent event.

To live our best lives, detox needs to be an every-day effort.

I hope this selection of our top 10 blogs, vlogs, podcasts and videos will support you with the how-to on reducing toxins and supporting your lymphatic system so you can truly thrive and love every day of the next 366 days in 2020!

Lymphatic Support to Minimize Herxheimer Reaction
When you are treating chronic infections there is a period of time when the biotoxins at the infection that are being produced can overwhelm your organs of elimination and create more inflammatory responses. Are you Detoxing with the Correct Binders?
Intestinal binders are a crucial part of any detox protocol. When the liver processes toxins, they get excreted through bile and into the small intestine. If the toxins are not bound to anything, most of them will get reabsorbed in the gut. This is called enterohepatic recirculation. Different binders have affinities for different toxins based on the net charge and different molecular bonds. LEARN MORE

Remedies for Brain Detoxification
Our brains are built to be in a constant state of healing and protection, removing environmental toxicants. At Sophia, when we need to support a patient’s brain health we think first about the glymphatic system and promoting blood flow in and out of the brain as well as ensuring proper lymph drainage. Foundational Support for Your Kidneys
The main job of the kidneys is to remove waste from the blood and return the cleaned blood back to the body. The kidneys have a lifetime of environmental exposure to toxins and can weaken over time. The kidneys don’t regenerate like the liver so when you have stressed kidneys we try to act quickly at Sophia Health to support the kidneys to lessen the burden and overwhelm so they can heal and repair.
