Using a clean utensil (wooden compressor, plastic spoon, or any clean household utensil) Use a very small amount (size of a pea,) apply to neck or any area that needs lymphatic drainage 1-2 times per day. Why is sugar in this product?

Citric acid and sugar are necessary for the wellbeing of the microbiome in the cream (Microbiome Advanced Formula) and they are consumed by the microbes during the fermentation process. Without them, the microbes could not thrive and produce all the molecules that are responsible for the beneficial effects of the cream. Their final concentration in the cream is far less than 1%, and both are from high quality food sources.

Is Sophia Flow shipped in ice? It’s very hot where I live. Is it heat-stable for shipping?

Sophia Flow will be fine and stable shipped to your hot climate. It is not packed in ice, and is kept unrefrigerated until opening. Once opened, please keep it in the refrigerator.

What is the source of the non-animal chondroitin sulfate? How is it created?

Non-animal-derived chondroitin sulfate (CS) is produced by a patented fermentation-based manufacturing process. Based on five patents, the innovative production method of non-animal-derived CS is the natural biosynthesis from a specific, non-GMO bacterial strain that produces a capsular polysaccharide that after the fermentation undergoes region-selective sulfation, thus showing the presence of sulfate groups in defined positions corresponding to those of animal-derived CS. CS extracted and purified from animal cartilage is a heterogeneous mixture of high and low-molecular-weight species with a heterogeneous sulfation profile. A major breakthrough in CS research was represented by the recent availability of non-animal CS, a compound that overcomes the above-mentioned limitations of animal-derived compounds.

Sophia Flow Cream contains a proprietary blend of vegetable oils, obtained from different types of seeds and fruits; this blend is composed of 100% natural ingredients and is palm-free and petroleum free.
The blend contains glyceride oils; it is a high purity blend of renewable resource components, typically used as a blending base in a variety of cosmetic and personal care applications.
This blend of vegetable oils contains essential oils and fatty acids that are not naturally produced by the human body but that are highly beneficial to dry and sensitive skin. These oils are called Omega-6 and Omega-3. This blend also contains essential vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K.
