Is Kavinace OS better suited for someone previously taking Kavinace or Kavinace Ultra PM?
Kavinace OS is more geared toward someone who was using Kavinace Ultra PM in the past. This does not mean that someone who was taking the original Kavinace will not benefit from Kavinace OS, but the Kavinace OS contains 5 mg of melatonin versus 3 mg in the Kavinace Ultra PM and zero melatonin in the regular Kavinace. Both Kavinace OS and Kavinace Ultra PM are only recommended before bed, whereas some people did report taking the regular Kavinace during the day to help aid with stress/anxiety. For those who took the regular Kavinace during the day or for those who would prefer a product without melatonin, we would recommend trying Calm CP or TravaCor.
What does the “OS” stand for?
The “OS” in Kavinace OS stands for oxidative stress.
Proven ingredients, improved sleep quality
Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies have shown that:
- Supplementation with astaxanthin and zinc significantly improved the onset of sleep (figure above)
- Supplementation with melatonin (5 mg), magnesium (225 mg), and zinc (11.25 mg), significantly improved the onset, duration, and efficiency of sleep
